Five arched plates, hand crafted in bidri are inlaid with fine, concentric silver lines. These black two-dimensional ‘lingams,’ are bound by an acrylic structure and taper towards the ends. The dynamism of the piece is showcased through the weightless character of the clear object, an illusional three-dimensional ellipse in perspective.
