KANTILO CONSOLE.

The Kantilo Console, inspired by Anish Kapoors ’Taratantara,’ is hand moulded into shape before being beaten to a hand-crafted texture. Two Lingams sit inversely over the other and are separated by a form, bulbous at the edges and lean in the centre. Appearing as protruding ears/’kaan,’ these elliptical ends are hollow through and through. Contrasting the evenly beaten exterior, a hidden gold grabs attention to counter the monotones of its parent form. 

The ends are made to multiply. Two or more consoles sit beautifully next to one another, creating even ellipses in between the drums. A boldly black form, with a heavy stature, embodies colour, illusion, texture and form.
